Job Description

You’ll manage the lifecycle of AI/ML services, ensure smooth deployment and integration of models, drive incident management, and collaborate across teams to enhance and optimize AI operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the AI/ML service lifecycle in production, including updates and version control.
  • Coordinate with development, data science, and vendor teams for model deployment and integration.
  • Ensure compliance with ITSM standards for incident, problem, and service request management.
  • Respond to and resolve incidents related to AI model/data quality, conduct root cause analysis, and document retrospectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge base and ensure clear, timely communication with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor system health, configure alerts, and document response protocols for fast issue resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with AI/ML advancements and experiment with new tools and techniques to improve AI Ops.
  • Continuously implement lessons learned and best practices to enhance AI/ML service quality.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and directives as business needs evolve.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Java.
  • 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with AI/ML.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, New Relic).
  • Experience with AI technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform - GCP).
  • Proven experience in AI Ops (model quality monitoring, alerting, development, incident triage, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement).
  • Solid knowledge of GenAI models (e.g., Gemini, GPT-4) and traditional ML models in NLP/Deep Learning.
  • Strong incident management, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently with a diverse technical team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Machine Learning certifications.
  • Experience in a Healthcare Payer enterprise.
  • Training experience in ML technologies/applications.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
